Our Story

The TiT Story

In 2020, a mission took shape to give back to the tech community by creating a bridge for aspiring talent to access opportunity, support, and industry insight.

Femi Ayilara, Convener

Thrive in Tech (TiT) began as a self-funded initiative dedicated to helping individuals break into and grow within the tech industry. What started as a focused mentorship effort has evolved into a growing and internationally connected platform.

Today, TiT supports aspiring professionals and early-career talent through mentorship, training, live programmes, innovation-led events, and community engagement across Nigeria, other parts of Africa, and the United Kingdom.

Our purpose is simple: reduce barriers, widen access, and create real pathways for people to learn, connect, and thrive in technology.

Our journey started with a small group of passionate tech enthusiasts who believed others deserved a real chance to succeed in tech. Through consistency, community, and shared purpose, that early effort has grown into a wider ecosystem of support and opportunity.
